This tool provides 50+ examples that document the implementation of the OECD Principles on Water Governance. The evolving practices provide lessons learnt at various levels (local, basin, national) as well as for policy frameworks, institutions and policy instruments, and could help with future implementation of the principles in interested cities, basins, regions and countries. It is aimed at policy makers, practitioners and other stakeholders wanting to learn from each other and aims to help them identify pitfalls to avoid when designing and implementing water policies.

This roadmap presents a framework of elements for WASH systems-building at district level, aiming to contribute to achieving universal access to sustained services. It is primarily aimed at professional staff of organizations supporting local government, who are well versed in sector context and processes, and governments involved in the district-wide approach, and other organisations engaged in facilitating WASH systems change and interested in applying these principles.

The aim of the Protocol on Water and Health is to improve access to drinking water and sanitation and to protect human health through better water management and protection of ecosystems. This Guide is designed especially for government officials and agencies who manage the process of public participation.
