WEAP is a software tool for integrated water resources planning that attempts to assist rather than substitute for the skilled planner. It provides a comprehensive, flexible and user-friendly framework for planning and policy analysis.

This tool and its proposed methodology set out an approach for conducting risk assessments for the WASH sector covering a wide range of hazard groups affecting the sector, as well as climate change related risks in more detail.
