This collection of campaign infographics - available for anyone to download - aims to raise awareness on menstrual hygiene management (MHM). For the 28 May Menstrual Hygiene Day 2020, an infographic on the implications of COVID-19 on MHH has been created, including what action is needed during and after the pandemic.

This report takes stock of the OECD Water Governance Principles’ use and evolving practices, and provides an indicator framework building on lessons learned from their implementation in different countries and contexts. It is aimed at interested cities, basins, regions and countries wanting to strengthen their water policies.

This toolkit gives practical guidance and support on reducing inequalities in WASH programme and advocacy work. It is primarily geared toward WaterAid staff and partners, but many of the principles and activities are equally relevant to other those working in other sectors of development.

The Water Governance Indicator Framework provides a voluntary multi-stakeholder self-assessment tool to understand the performance of water governance systems at city, basin, regional or national scales. Its primary objective is to stimulate a transparent, neutral, open, inclusive and forward-looking dialogue across governments and other stakeholders on what works, what does not, what should be improved and who can do what. It is also a tool supporting the implementation of the OECD Principles on Water Governance.

Water Funds are organizations that design and enhance financial and governance mechanisms which unite public, private and civil society stakeholders around a common goal to contribute to water security through nature-based solutions and sustainable watershed management. The Waterfunds Toolbox provides access to state-of-the-art knowledge on how to scope, design, and operate water funds. It was developed by Water Funds experts to help leaders succeed in developing Water Funds.

The tools have been developed by IRC, Water for People and Aguaconsult. They build on Water for People’s “Everyone Forever” programme and IRC’s work on life-cycle costing and financing of sustainable water and sanitation services.
This set of 4 WASH costing and budgeting tools aims to help analyse costs and create a financial overview at the district level.

Accountability mapping tools are participatory instruments developed to assess the status and quality of accountability lines within the water and sanitation sector. These spreadsheet-based tools produce graphics of
the water sector, represented as a comprehensive system of accountability relations involving policy makers, service providers and communities.

This guide aims to serve as a tool for professionals, implementers, and advocates looking to pursue and promote WASH advocacy efforts. It provides a list of annotated resources that cover WASH and global advocacy, along with relevant organizations in the WASH advocacy field.

By recognising both the risks of violence associated with WASH and the potential benefits of WASH, this toolkit aims to shine a light on this problem and encourage practitioners to recognise their capacity to make WASH safer and more effective.

The IM toolbox is a systematic, bottom-up approach to identify and address the integrity risks in the day-to-day operations and management of a water sector organization. Water sector organizations can use the approach to optimize their business models and reduce the risks that are affecting their performance on the long term.

This Handbook gives guidance on the implementation of the human rights to water and sanitation as defined by the international human rights legal framework. The main target audiences include governments at all levels, donors and national regulatory bodies, however, it provides information that will also be useful to civil society, service providers and human rights organisations.

TrackFin (Tracking Financing to WASH) is a methodology to identify and track financing to the WASH sector at the national or sub-national level in a consistent and comparable manner. The tool produces WASH accounts which can be used by governments for national benchmarking, cross-country comparisons and to provide an evidence base to better plan, finance, manage and monitor WASH services and systems.
