WASH FIT comprises 5 steps:
1. Assemble the team,
2. Conduct an assessment of the facility,
3. Undertake hazard and risk assessment,
4. Develop an improvement plan and
5. Monitor progress and make improvements to the plan.
Accessing the Climate and Disaster Risk Screening Tool requires registering (free) on the World Bank website. The assessment requires approximately 2 hours to complete. It provides users with additional guidance on the climate and disaster risks that may impact their project/program.
The Communications Toolkit's focus is on promoting the policy messages of the World Leaders Call to Action on WASH & COVID-19 launched in April, 2019. It is maintained by the Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) Secretariat, housed on the United Nations Communications Trello board.

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the human rights to water and sanitation, the SWA Secretariat has developed and compiled a series of communications materials to help its partners and beyond with the promotion of key messages related to this important milesone. These materials include animated gifs, illustrations, social media banners, and social media cards, among others.
All materials are available in English, French and Spanish.
